Following up Robes of Snow’s autumnal debut album is the band’s winter-themed sophomore album “The Frozen Choir”. “The Frozen Choir” presents a much darker side of the band’s sound and explores new sonic landscapes that hint at things to come. The album is presented on a kelly green tape in a white-backed case. It includes a hand-painted rune stone imbued with good thoughts. Everything is housed in a white pouch. Because of the album’s length, the final song “Man’s First Walk Across Frozen Waters” was omitted from the cassette. To make up for this, each tape includes a download code for a second, exclusive full-length album entitled “Frozen Waters” that acts as a continuation of the ideas found on “The Frozen Choir”. The “Frozen Waters” album is only available via download code.
